The Excelsior Arts and Music Festival is the largest event in San Francisco's Excelsior District, drawing over 5,000 people to our vibrant and diverse community. This year's event is on Sunday, October 9, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Festival began originally as the Excelsior Festival, a volunteer-led effort spearheaded by the Excelsior Action Group. The Festival aims to highlight our community's assets, celebrate our uniqueness and connect residents and organizations to one another through the arts, music, and play.
The Festival is produced by volunteers and community organizations with an interest in building civic pride and showcasing all that the Excelsior community has to offer. It's a fun-filled day in the neighborhood with good music, food and fun.
